Someone buying your listed item sends a 'request' and asks you to approve it to receive money.

- People selling something on OLX, Facebook Marketplace or a local group. The buyer is in a hurry and never haggles.

- Seconds: the PIN is the whole transaction

How it runs
- 01You list something for sale online or on a marketplace
- 02A buyer appears quickly and agrees to your price without negotiating
- 03They send a UPI collect request, framed as sending you money
- 04Approving it with your PIN sends money out, not in
Receiving money never requires your UPI PIN. If you are asked for a PIN, money is leaving.
If this happened to you
Report it the same day with the UTR from your bank message.
If money left an account in the last few hours, call 1930 before anything else.
