Cyber Saathi is a working prototype of a redesigned national cybercrime portal. It is not the deployed government system, and it is not affiliated with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, the Ministry of Home Affairs, any bank or any telecom operator.

Case statuses and government responses shown here are simulated and labelled as such.

What we cannot do

This site does not freeze bank funds, conduct investigations, register FIRs, or guarantee that money will be recovered. No portal can. Those actions belong to banks, police and the courts.

Risk assessments are not verdicts

Where this site flags something as suspicious, that is a reading of the information you provided. It is a reason to slow down and verify, not a finding that any person has committed an offence.

An identifier appearing in reports filed by others is not proof of guilt. Reports are unverified and are a matter for investigation by the police.
